Development the Educational Animations as a Means of Entertainment and Education for Early Childhood About Time Discipline
Abstract
Educational animation research is a means of entertainment and education for early childhood, with a focus on teaching time discipline. Through interesting stories and easily recognizable characters, this animation is intended to teach children about the importance of managing time well. To create this animation, there are three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. In the pre-production stage, story ideas are created, storyboards are created, and character designs are created. In the production stage, animations are created using appropriate animation software, along with supporting narration and background music. To obtain feedback, the post-production stage includes testing the animation on a group of early childhood and final editing. This study found that educational animations attract children's attention and increase their understanding of the importance of time discipline. The results show that, by combining entertainment and educational elements in an engaging medium, educational animations can be an effective tool for teaching important concepts such as time discipline to early childhood.
